My family and I spent ten (long) years—1999 until 2009—in “Cub exile” in Cincinnati and Pennsylvania, driving to Cub games wherever and whenever we could. The book follows our road trips during the 2008 season, and intersperses stories from 1908, the last year the Cubs won it all. It also features memories of games attended over 50 years of going to Wrigley Field, and other ballparks. We’ve had a lot of fun going to Cub games over the years, and hope you have fun reading Waiting for the Cubs.
